Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in a position as  an audio technician/sound engineer with your organization. With over 15 years of professional experience supporting touring artists, and live concerts in major venues, I bring a proven track record of delivering high-quality sound, smooth productions, and artist-focused service in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in FOH and monitor positions, venue-wide audio system operation, and professional mixing for live audiences and broadcast. My experience includes sound checks, system tuning, troubleshooting, and maintaining safe, consistent audio levels for performances ranging from intimate club shows to large-scale outdoor amphitheaters and network broadcasts. I am equally comfortable handling full production workflows, including load-in/load-out, cabling and patching, backline and band equipment setup, and technical advancing with tour managers and visiting production teams.

In addition to audio, I bring strong capabilities in stage production, lighting operation, and live video workflows. I have directed and supported multi-camera live concert shoots, managed ATEM switchers and SDI routing, worked with RTS/Clear-Com systems with IFB, and supported live broadcast and bonded Wi-Fi streaming environments. This cross-disciplinary experience allows me to collaborate seamlessly across departments and anticipate technical needs before they become issues.

My background includes long-term work with touring artists and venues, as well as leadership roles such as leaseholder and operator of the 6,000-seat Starlight Amphitheater, where I hired and managed full production crews, installed FOH systems, and promoted major concerts. I have also supported high-profile live broadcasts and events, including Olympic ceremonies, major award shows, and syndicated radio broadcasts featuring internationally recognized artists.

I am known for being reliable, resourceful, and calm under pressure, with a strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and ensuring that artists sound and look their absolute best for audiences and viewers. I am physically capable of meeting the demands of live production work and thrive in loud, dynamic environments.
